User Meeting

Reflecting on the GeoDict User Meeting 2018

Many thanks to all speakers and participants of the GeoDict User Meeting 2018.

International representatives of academic research institutions and industry, as well as worldwide distributors of GeoDict and commercial partners of Math2Market, joined us in the Gartenschau in Kaiserslautern, Germany, and made our 7th User Meeting a great event.

With late summer temperatures and a most pleasant athmosphere, an intensive exchange of information took place in large and small groups. We intensified long-time relationships with Math2Market customers and established new relationships.

We look forward to welcoming you again next year!

Save-the-date for the User Meeting 2019!

Overview of the many new features and functions of GeoDict 2019

Easily upload and run extensive GeoDict simulations in the cloud
Create impressive videos directly from the results viewer
Fast and memory efficient export of structures as (partition of unity) surface meshes for better 3D printing, visualization and simulation with external solvers
Automatic creation of a digital twin and computation of the pore shape of the material based on the results of the identification and analysis of pores and grains from image data.
Automatic creation of a digital twin of the material based on the results of improved fiber identification by machine learning / artificial intelligence on image data
Import of FIB-SEM data with the new FIB-SEM-Import-Workflow
10x faster acceleration during image processing with the 3D image filters on the GPU
Coupling of process simulation with mechanical microstructure simulations to perform accurate component scale simulations with Abaqus
Runtime reduction of flow calculations with the new Multigrid Method available for LIR
Simulation of thermal and electrical conductivity including the resistance of the contact interfaces in the microstructure of the materials
Computation of even more realistic (dis-)charging simulations of batteries including binders or a second active material per electrode
