Just recently, yet another interesting article regarding "Mechanical shutdown of battery separators: Silicon anode failure" by one of our scientific clients came out in the journal "Nature Communications".

Reactive transport is an essential mechanism in various applications, including fuel cells, groundwater contamination, and enhanced oil recovery. As a first step towards reactive transport, GeoDict 2025 introduces the command "Transport Concentration Field" within AddiDict, enhancing the transient simulation of solute concentration fields driven by advection and diffusion.

GeoDict 2025 introduces advanced features for fluid flow simulation in porous media, enhancing accuracy and experimental alignment. Highlights include LIR's support for sub-voxel resolution, better adaptive mesh refinement criteria, first steps towards transient Navier–Stokes flows, and new no-slip boundary conditions for more accurate results, especially in digital rocks.

In this study, we introduce the efficient simulation of adsorption on the filter media scale using GeoDict, a powerful tool for digital material development and prototyping.
