Abstract
In this session, we reflect on the key developments and technologies implemented into GeoDict 2024 and also take a look at future developments, to be implemented in future versions of GeoDict.
GeoDict emphasizes the importance of digitalization in material science to achieve a deeper and sustainable understanding of material properties and be able to improve them. Predicting material behavior under various conditions leads to significant cost and time savings, enhancing productivity and innovation in material development, while keeping in sight environmental concerns.
Looking ahead, the Roadmap for GeoDict focuses on continuous innovation and expansion of its capabilities. Future developments in GeoDict will include the simulation of turbulent flows, contact detachments, large deformations due to thermal expansion, and many more features.
