Workshop: Simulation of Water Transport in a PEM Fuel Cell
Abstract
The goal of the workshop is to explain and work together through the simulation of water transport in a PEM fuel cell. We start with the generation of a fiber-based gas diffusion layer and a flow channel. Then, we perform together the spatially-resolved relative permeability simulations through the GDL. These include the wetting in the GDL and later the flow simulation with diffusion in the flow channel. We explain the appropriate visualization settings to be used to effectively present the results. These results will be later compiled into an impressive video during the Visualization Workshop. Make sure not to miss it!
