GeoDict offers numerous ways to adjust a workflow to the user’s needs. Almost every action in GeoDict is a command, with configuration, input parameters, and output results. A macro is recorded by combining these commands and their parameters as a Python script. This macro is playable in GeoDict and represents exactly the required workflow in a reproducible way.

During this workshop we will

• record and playback GeoDict macros to automate common / repetitive tasks 
• add variables to macros to run parameter studies while optimizing or analyzing materials 
• access any GeoDict result from a GeoPy macro
