Under the Results – Report subtab, the results from two algorithms can be found. Both compute the boundary between the electrolyte and the active material. However, while Algorithm 1 counts the voxel surfaces, Algorithm 2 calculates an approximation of the surface area by statistical methods. Estimating the surface of the cathode structure results in a specific surface area of 262355 m2/m3, which is the surface area divided by the volume of the structure.
