Pre-Processing Steps
We want to simulate oil flowing through the filter. The oil will enter the filter through several inlet openings and discharge through the outlet opening. Therefore, in preparation for the flow simulation, we need to define where the inlet and outlet openings are, and which parts belong to the fluid domain. This will be done in the following by setting the appropriate material information.
Continue with the Pre-Processing Steps after you have done the Import CAD Files step. Alternatively, you can load the CompleteFilter.gdt file from the Results-M2M folder and skip the previous Import CAD Files step. |

After the pre-processing, save the structure via File → Save Structure as… in the menu bar. Save it with the file name CompleteFilterWithInletAndOutlet.gdt in the /Results-User folder (if this is your chosen project folder).
