GeoDict User Guide 2025

Set Up Your Tutorial Project

The Simulate-flow-and-filtration-in-the-complete-filter folder contains three folders:

  • The Input-Data folder contains:
    • The CAD structure in *.stl format, consisting of 5 parts: BasePlate.stl, Cap.stl, InnerSupportMesh.stl, OuterSupportMesh.stl, and Pleat.stl.
    • The particle size distribution of the test dust, given as a *.txt file with two columns in ISO-12103-1-A3-Medium.txt.
    • An Excel sheet that contains the fractional filtration efficiencies of the filter media: FractionalFiltrationEfficiencies.xlsx.
  • The Results-M2M folder contains the results for this tutorial provided by Math2Market (M2M), described below.
  • The Results-User folder is empty. We recommend that, before starting to work through this tutorial, you set the Results-User folder as project folder in GeoDict.
