Using GeoDict for analysis and design of Nonwovens: Case studies

TBD explores how digital materials engineering is transforming nonwoven product development through virtual testing and microstructural analysis. Using µCT imaging, AI based fiber identification, and physics based simulations, the session demonstrates how material structure determines functional performance. Two industrial case studies showcase a complete digital workflow for characterizing nonwovens and predicting transport properties, and a multilayer personal care liner that reveals how fiber architecture controls liquid absorption, capillary flow, and permeability. The presentations demonstrates how digital twins accelerate product development and enable more informed material design.
