An insight into the job
In the position of Support Engineer (m/f/d), you enable customers to use our software product successfully. This means that you help customers to develop new materials for their next product generation.
You create documentation and training materials and instruct customers in the use of the software. You are interested in the questions of the clients, are a competent contact person, and work out solution proposals for the tasks at hand.
Your tasks
- High level technical support
- Create scripts and apps for clients
- Write and update software manuals and case studies
- Planning and conducting training courses
- Designing software tests and creating internal feedback for further development of the software
- Create and manage software licenses
Your profile
- Academic education in the STEM (Science-Technology-Engineering-Mathematics) fields
- Confident command of written and spoken English and German
- Basic programming skills – ideally, good knowledge of Python
- Experience with complex simulation software in the scientific field
- Ideally, experience related to one of our business fields
- Enjoy contact with customers
