In collaboration with our project partner, the Institute for Environment & Energy, Technology & Analytics (IUTA), we compared the new GeoDict functionality with ANSYS Fluent using an exemplary fiber structure.
During the verification, the predicted behavior of particle separation was compared across various filtration mechanisms. We investigated mechanical filtration, diffusion, and electrostatic effects, including both Coulomb and dielectrophoretic forces. The high degree of agreement in the simulation results confirms the robustness and reliability of our implementation for these complex physical interactions.
