Using 3D µCT scans from five industrial filter media samples, we transformed physical materials into high-fidelity digital structures.
GeoDict's image processing and analysis workflow, powered by the ImportGeo-Vol, FiberFind, and MatDict modules enabled precise segmentation of the complex fibrous structures captured in the scans. By ensuring that the true microstructure of the filter media serves as the geometric foundation for all subsequent filtration simulations, we create a reliable starting point for predictive and experimentally consistent results.
