Electret filter development with GeoDict
Our results have now been published in Filtration and Separation (03/26) in the following article:
“Experimentally validated numerical simulations of particle deposition in mechanical and electret-based filter media”
The publication presents the full validation workflow, showing how GeoDict simulations compare with CFD and experimental measurements. The results demonstrate thet both mechanically and electrostatically driven filtration can be predicted on a physically sound basis.
For filter developers, this provides greater confidence in simulation-driven design, making it easier to evaluate filter performance, compare design alternatives, and reduce the need for extensive experimental testing.
A fitting conclusion to the series and another example of how validated simulation helps accelerate filter development.
