We're excited to announce the approved funding of the project ElekSim with the support from Central Innovation Programme for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) in collaboration with the Intstitut für Umwelt & Energie, Technik & Analytik e.V.. The publicly funded project has the aim to develop a simulation tool specifically designed for electret filters, which will open up new application areas for your business. With the consideration of electrostatic effects in particle deposition, the simulation tool will enable you to perform efficient media optimization studies, saving you valuable time and resources.
Our cutting-edge technology development will include a software add-in for the FilterDict module, which is planned to be integrated into the GeoDict 2026 version. The add-in is supposed to come packed with functionalities such as providing charge distributions for fibers, specifying material properties for the aerosol, and simulating the initial separation efficiency and discharge over time.
