GeoDict Innovation Conference 2026

The 14th GeoDict Innovation Conference took place this year on September 29 and 30 as a hybrid event - both in person at the b’mine Hotel in Frankfurt am Main and via livestream. The hotel’s modern ambiance in the international metropolis of Frankfurt provided the perfect setting for our global GeoDict community to gather. For two days, the focus was on digital materials research and development. International guest speakers from industry and academia used concrete applications to demonstrate how simulations with GeoDict contribute to solving current challenges. The conference provided a space for new ideas, practical insights, and personal exchange between users and experts.

The Plenum talks presented the new features in GeoDict 2026 as well as a wide range of real-world applications. The breakout sessions delved deeper into specific workflows in the fields of batteries, filtration, digital materials, digital rock physics, and core analysis, as well as 3D image processing and image analysis. The program was complemented by a poster session and GeoDict demo stations, where participants could explore the software together with our experts. The breaks and the gala dinner also provided opportunities to exchange experiences and make new contacts.

The conference lives on the people who share their knowledge, experiences, and ideas. That’s why we’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all customers and partners who helped shape the GeoDict Innovation Conference 2026! Math2Market is taking away many ideas and suggestions that will be incorporated into the further development of GeoDict. Together, we are advancing digital materials research and developing solutions for current and future challenges.

We look forward to welcoming you again next year, in person or online, at the GeoDict Innovation Conference 2027!

What can you expect?

The GeoDict Innovation Conference is an annual gathering of customers, partners, and the Math2Market team about the solutions that the latest developments in GeoDict bring to their material analysis, research, and engineering workflows. The GIC is all about personal interaction between Math2Market and international GeoDict experts and users to discuss application-specific experiences and solutions.

The conference also caters to those wanting to explore the possibilities of GeoDict as an innovative scientific software for material research and development and receive non-binding information.

The event will be structured into sessions in accordance with the participants' informational needs:

Plenum

The Plenum presentations introduce new features of the GeoDict release and address cross-industry topics and solutions in material research and development. Contributions from GeoDict users provide valuable insights into how it is already being used in various application areas, allowing participants to gain an interesting "outside-the-box" perspective.

Breakout sessions

In the parallel breakout sessions, Math2Market experts focus on specific topics and show examples of innovative workflows tailored to the challenges of the corresponding application area.

Industry-specific digital processes & workflows in the areas of:

  • Electrochemistry (batteries, fuel cells, electrolyzers)
  • Filtration (liquid and gas filtration, exhaust gas treatment, coalescence)
  • Digital Materials (composites, foams, ceramics, nonwoven, etc.)
  • DRP & DCA (digital rock physics & digital core analysis)
  • 3D Image Processing & Image Analysis

Additional highlights

  • Opening plenum presentation by Andreas Wiegmann, CEO Math2Market - a pioneer of digital material development.
