Generate Automated PowerPoint Reports from 3D Grayscale Image Data
PDF tutorial
Precise analysis of micro-CT images is the basis for reliable property predictions using GeoDict simulations. With the GeoApp 3D Image Report, you can automate the creation of PowerPoint presentations from 3D grayscale images—a simple method for checking image quality and quickly identifying artifacts.
This tutorial uses a micro-CT image of Bentheim sandstone, an important reservoir rock from northwestern Germany, as an example. The Bentheim sample was kindly provided by Matthew Andrew from Carl Zeiss X-ray Microscopy. The 3D data was reduced to a compact image section to enable quick analysis.
In this PDF tutorial you will learn step-by-step:
- Automated report generation: Generate a PowerPoint presentation from 3D grayscale images using GeoApp 3D Image Report.
- Understanding GeoPy scripts: Gain insight into the structure and functionality of the underlying Python scripts.
- Customizing reports: Customize PowerPoint templates and extend GeoPy scripts to suit your own workflows.
