In 2011, Math2Market was founded in Kaiserslautern as a spin-off from Fraunhofer ITWM by Andreas Wiegmann, Erik Glatt and Jürgen Becker. The story of GeoDict had already begun ten years earlier, with the start of its development in 2001.

Since then, a lot has changed. Math2Market has grown into an international team, and GeoDict is now used by more than 550 companies, universities, and research institutions worldwide to analyze, model, simulate, and optimize materials.

What has remained constant is the idea behind our work: to make materials research and development more efficient by gaining deeper insight into material microstructures and properties through image-based modeling and simulation.

Fifteen years of Math2Market also means fifteen years of collaboration. We would like to thank our customers, research and industry partners, distribution partners, and colleagues for their trust, ideas, expertise, and the many developments we have worked on together.

We are proud of what has grown from those beginnings in Kaiserslautern and look forward to continuing the story together.
