GeoDict Innovation Conference in Frankfurt a. Main/Germany & Online (Sep 29 - 30, 2026)

Speaker: Dr. Jens-Oliver Schwarz, Deputy Sales Director and Dr. Nelly Nunheim-Pape, Account Manager Digital Materials R&D  / Math2Market GmbH

Abstract

This presentation focuses on the GeoDict Academic Innovator Program (AIP), a licensing offer designed to make broad, long-term use of GeoDict more accessible for universities and public research institutions. The program enables institutions to establish GeoDict as a platform for research, teaching, and student qualification under conditions tailored to academic budgets and usage scenarios.

The talk explains who can benefit from AIP, how the license model differs from conventional academic licensing, and how institutions can use it to expand access across research groups, projects, and courses.

GeoDict supports realistic 3D microstructure modeling, numerical property simulations and the analysis of microstructure-property relationships. Through AIP, these capabilities can be integrated more consistently into daily academic work: researchers can complement experiments, compare material, and generate reproducible results, while students gain practical experience with simulation methods used in materials research and industry and build lasting simulation expertise.
