GeoDict Innovation Conference in Frankfurt (Main)/Germany & Online (Sep 29 - 30, 2026)

Host: Dr. Ilona Glatt, Head of Electrochemistry Business / Math2Market GmbH

Battery Breakout Session

The battery breakout session at the GeoDict Innovation Conference 2026 includes many different topics which will drive next-generation energy storage design.

We start with showing of how to use GeoDict to parametrize Doyle-Fuller-Newman-models based on real electrode microstructures. After that we do a deep-dive into high-resolution 3D-imaging for Li-Ion electrodes. A major highlight is the creation of digital twins for solid-state batteries, incorporating advanced 2D-to-3D modeling techniques. We will also shed light onto electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), how interpret the results and how digital EIS-experiments provide even deeper insight. Last but not least, we will showcase new features in GeoDict 2027 for batteries.
